Start NowFrequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about ColorCaller and daily hotline alerts.
What is ColorCaller?
ColorCaller is an automated hotline monitoring and alert service that calls your probation or testing hotline each day, listens for your unique code, color or keyword, and notifies you via text and phone call whether testing is required. It's designed to help you stay compliant without having to wake up early to call the hotline yourself.
Do I still need to call my testing hotline?
No. Once you've added your hotline phone number, access code or PIN, and your assigned keyword to ColorCaller, our system calls for you every day. If you'd like, you can always call manually as a one‑off for peace of mind.
How do automated alerts work?
Our servers dial your hotline at your chosen time, enter your access code, and detect your assigned code or color in the recorded message. If testing is required, we send you an immediate text message and place a phone call. If there's no test today, we send you a quick “No Test Today” confirmation.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. You can try ColorCaller free for three days with full access to automated calls and alerts. After the trial, the service is just $9.99 per month and you can cancel anytime.
When and how will I be notified?
You can choose the time of day for your automated call. As soon as we complete your daily call, we'll send a text message with the result and, if your keyword is detected, we’ll also call you. Alerts typically arrive early in the morning so you have plenty of time to plan.
What testing systems does ColorCaller support?
ColorCaller supports most UA testing hotlines, including common color code lines, Sentry systems, and other PIN‑based systems. If you're unsure, contact us and we'll help determine if we can call your hotline.
Is my personal data secure?
Absolutely. All communications are encrypted in transit and at rest. We use secure authentication and enforce strict access controls so that only you can view your data. We never share your personal information with third parties.
How can I cancel or delete my account?
You can cancel your subscription or delete your account at any time from your account settings. Canceling stops future billing and you can continue to use the service until the end of your billing period. Deleting your account permanently removes your data from our servers.
How do I contact support?
If you need help or have questions, please reach out to our support team via the contact page. We aim to respond within 24–48 hours.
